Re: Whip Round for WHO...
There's been some issues where the site has slowed down over the last week or two, we've changed servers and Site Admin is having a clean up of the database later tonight, so carry on cunting each other in the bastard as it's far too tame on here these days

The site that died of shame, cause of the shit club we support.

You know West Ham being owned and run by arseholes is nothing new Bobby Moore may have been "lost" 25 years ago but he was lost to West Ham long before that and the club didn't give him the time of day through the long sad years leading up to his death.
Suddenly after he died he became a marketing option. BASTARDS

They've sorted that. I haven't been redirected to a health food site for ages. The porn can be embarrassing though.

I *would* turn off my ad block if the site owners did not allow adverts containing shitty redirects and other assorted nastiness.

Two things.

Stick a PayPal button up top. I’ll give a few quid every now and again.

Second, turn off your ad blocks and click on the banners every now and again. I get ads for Arsenal for some reason so I click on them in the hope they have to pay for my disinterest.

Did someone say whip? Yeee-Ha! I'll get the walnuts!

This period of slow is probably a few spotty pro-board dorks running a low level dos attack on the site from their iPhones to "teach us a lesson".

Hello! * bangs twat on forehead, Basil Fawlty stylee* Dorky! * bangs twat's head again*.

Cutting off one of the only communication links the board have with those planning to march is not exactly "smart", is it?

Re: Whip Round for WHO...
I genuinely think we need to do something because the site has been in decline for a couple of years or more regardless of this issue. The fact that it's such a ballache to use means that many will fall out of the habit and simply not bother, and that will be difficult to reverse. That would be a shame because the 'culture' of the place makes it for me personally still by far the best WHU website. However, I find myself logging in less and less.

I know zero about what would need to be done technically, and what that would cost, but suspect that plenty of people on here would. It would be worth knowing, because if it's a case of raising a bit of money we've done that before for stuff.
